Wonderful gathering last Saturday at Alnôbaiwi HQ in the Intervale at the Winooski Valley Park District in Burlington for an Abenaki Cooking class. Our favorite Abenaki Chef made Moose Nose Stew with Abenaki corn and other delicious traditional ingredients. A Snow Snake carving class followed - though Aaron D. carved himself a fishing rod. Can't wait for enough snow to make a Snow Snake track in our Traditional Village and have some competitions this winter. Bring your Snowsnake.
